December 5, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the Kazan
Radio-Mechanical College, which is the specialized competence center of the
championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) in the direction of
“Electronics”. The Mayor examined the laboratories and classrooms and talked
with the teachers and students of the college.
The
competence “Electronics” requires a lot of knowledge and skills as it includes
4 sub-computations: programming, circuitry, installation, and adjustment.
“There are talented children, they just need to be trained”, noted teacher
Ravilya Bikmukhametova.
She noted
that graduates continue to study at the KAI or work at enterprises in the
future. The college is included in the state program of targeted training of
professional personnel in highly demanded occupations and specialties.
The college
supplies personnel for work at high-performance workplaces in the industry that
provides modernization and technological development of the economy of the RT.
The educational institution cooperates with such enterprises as the AO
“Radiopribor”, the NPO “Radioelectronics” named after. V. Shimko, the Kazan
Aviation Plant, the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant, the plant “Electropribor”,
and others. These enterprises help equip the college.
“There are
two components. It is necessary that it was interesting to learn the new modern
equipment. The second is a decent salary of representatives of working
professions”, said the Mayor.
Ilsur
Metshin spoke with students and participants of the regional stage “Young
Professionals” (WorldSkills). In 2019, Kazan will host the world championship
of working professions “WorldSkills”.
“We will
support you. We must understand that everybody is equal at these
championships”, said Ilsur Metshin. “You need to be psychologically
prepared. There is no one better or worse than us but we are the country that
sent the man into space first. We will help in everything so that you will be
prepared”, said the Mayor.
The regional championship “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills
Russia) took place from 27 to 29 of November in Kazan. The winners of the
regional contest will take part in the national championship “Young
Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia), which will be held in 2018 in
Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Ilsur Metshin also visited the audience with turning
equipment and then looked at the lesson on the basics of programming. In the
assembly hall, the Mayor talked with the student of the college. He was told
that students take an active part in city and republican events. The students
showed their awards and diplomas and also performed a song, with which they
took first place in the contest “Vesennyaya Kapel”.
The Mayor of Kazan congratulated the children on the
International Volunteer Day, which is celebrated today, and wished them success
in WorldSkills competitions. “It is important that you live a bright creative
life, there are sports, KVN, variety art except for study. This is the beauty
of student life”, said I. Metshin. “And the adult working life at the
enterprises is waiting for you tomorrow because we have a lot of enterprises
where you have to apply your knowledge”.
Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive
Committee, Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’
administration, Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth
Affairs, visited the college together with the Mayor.
The Kazan
Radio-Mechanical College (Krasnogo Pozharnika Street, No.1a) is located in a
building, built in 1969, about 450 students are studying here. In the first
half of 2017, the facade of the building was renovated.
