The Mayor of Kazan held a reception of citizens

(KZN.RU, November 28, Alsu Safina). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, held a reception of citizens today in the Executive Committee of the Kazan local branch of United Russia. The Mayor ordered to help Alexey Dvugroshev with obtaining a working specialty and invited Farida Zainullina with her 8-year-old daughter to the New Year performance in the Kazan City Hall.

24-year-old Alexey Dvugroshev appealed to the head of the city with a request for financial assistance and assistance in obtaining a secondary vocational education. Alexey is the guardian of his younger minor sister. She is now 8 years old, she is studying in the second grade of the secondary school of the Privolzhsky district. He takes his sister to school and back home. A young man is the guardian of a girl from the age of 18 and takes care of her. This is the reason why he wasn’t able to get an education. Now he works in the “Kazmetrostroy” as an electrician but he would like to receive a professional education in the specialty of a welder.

The Mayor of Kazan approved Alexey's desire to learn this specialty. “I can say from experience that good welders are extremely valuable”, said Ilsur Metshin. He added that this profession is now not only highly paid but also very popular, including at large enterprises such as the “Kazanorgsintez”, “Nizhnekamskneftekhim”, and many others.

Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, who was also present at the reception, said that the school year is already running in secondary vocational education institutions but they can take an applicant before December 1 if there are places. Ilsur Metshin instructed the chairman to work through this issue and to determine Alexey Dvugroshev to an educational institution where welders are trained by December 1.

In addition, on behalf of the head of the city, material assistance will be provided to the boy to purchase household appliances and winter clothes for him and his sister.

“Life is slowly getting better, your little sister will soon grow up, and you'll rise to your feet”, said Ilsur Metshin. He noted that the activity of Alexey plays an equally important role in his development in life.

A resident Farida Zainullina also came at the reception to the Mayor. She said that she is the mother of a disabled child who is 8 years old. Her daughter studies at the secondary school of the Privolzhsky district. The child is very fond of the New Year holiday and would like to visit one of the New Year's performances, which are traditionally held at several city venues. Ilsur Metshin invited Farida Zainullina and her daughter to a New Year performance at the Kazan City Hall, where her child can receive a New Year's gift along with the rest of the children.

Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, Timur Alibaev, the head of the Aviastroitelny and Novo-Savinovsky districts’ administration, also took part in the reception of citizens.
