During all week, events, dedicated to the Day of children's protection, will be held in Kazan

(KZN.RU, May 29, Alsu Safina). The main venue for the celebration of the International Day of children's protection in Kazan will be the territory of the Kazan Kremlin. Creative, sports and cognitive activities for children of all ages will be held in all districts of the city on June 1. An interactive program will be prepared for young Kazan residents in the Gorky Park, Gorkinsko-Ometievsky Forest, Kazan Zoo, the Family Center “Kazan”, and other important places in the city. Airat Faizov, the chairman of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs, told about the events planned for that day at the Business Monday.

A large recreational area will traditionally open on June 1 in the territory of the Kazan Kremlin, which will begin to work at 11.00. According to A. Faizov, the programs “Wizards of the Radiant City” and “We Love the Kremlin” are prepared there, including an exhibition of children's artworks, master classes in applied art, literary yards, and much more. The events will last until 15.00.

In the Gorky Park, heroes of N. Nosov's trilogy about Neznaika will conduct creative, sporting, and entertaining classes using colorful scenery and details from 13.00 to 16.00. Master classes on fine arts and origami are planned. Large cardboard models of houses, rockets, colors for coloring and a wooden fence for drawing will be placed on the site. Children will learn how to sew huge buttons, play lunar basketball and giant bowling, can try on colorful outfits, and take pictures at this site, noted A. Faizov.

On June 1, adults can have fun, too. From 17.00 to 20.00, the festival “I will be a mother” will be held at the Family Center “Kazan”, where lottery drawing and delivery of mother certificates will take place.

The thematic program “Pirate vacations”, prepared by the MBE “Teenager”, will begin in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest at 10.00. It includes a concert with prizes, master classes from teachers, the work of sports grounds and aqua-grim. Young Kazan residents, who come to the holiday in a pirate costume, will be able to receive special prizes. “At 16.00, the celebration will pass to the Kazan Children's Cup for ship, air and self-model sports, which will be held in Pobedy Park”, said the chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth Affairs.

The largest enterprises KAPA named after Gorbunov, KMPO, and others organize festive programs for children of employees of enterprises on this day. City final football competitions “Leather Ball” will open at the stadium “Tasma”.

“All major parks of the city will please children with regional festive programs, family festivals, and performances throughout the festive week. From May 28 to June 3, teenage clubs, school camps, children's sports schools, music schools offer pupils to realize their potential during sports competitions, contests, exhibitions, theatrical performances and other entertainment events”, noted A. Faizov. Citizens will be able to participate in charity events for children with disabilities and children from socially unprotected families.

The festive program will finish on June 3 in the Kazan Zoo, where an extensive concert and scientific and entertaining program awaits visitors from 12.00 to 14.00, including pony rides and master classes (by buying an entrance ticket).

“Protection of children is a capacious concept. This concerns the safety, life, and health of children. This is education, treatment, and, unfortunately, sometimes rehabilitation”, noted Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. “The city allocates billions of rubles for these programs, including education, but budgetary funds are not enough for all needs. Such holidays are an opportunity for enterprises, public, and charitable organizations to pay special attention to children. Every year, there are more of such events in Kazan, and they are brighter, more beautiful”, he added.
