I. Metshin visited the branch of the city children's polyclinic №10

(KZN.RU, April 28, Mikhail Chentsov). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited today the branch of the city children's polyclinic №10, located at the street Syartlanova, 21. This year the institution will be overhauled as part of the Program of modernization and strengthening of the primary health care of the RT for 2017-2018. The Mayor estimated the volume of forthcoming works, talked with doctors and instructed to consider the issue of parking for patients.

The branch of SAPHI “Children's City Polyclinic № 10” with an area of 748.7 square meters is located on the first floor of a residential building, built in 1983, and consists of eight pediatric sites, clinical diagnostic and biochemical laboratories, exercise rooms, and functional diagnostics. The medical center serves more than 8 thousand children under the age of 18 years. According to Liliya Mukhametgatova, the head doctor, the children's polyclinic №10 is the largest in Kazan by the number of people served. “We are located on three sites: the main one is on Pobedy Prospect, 56, two branches are on the street Fucik, 4, and street Syirtlanova, 21, in which we are located. About 35.000 children are distributed to three polyclinics”, she said.

L. Mukhametgatova noted that the building on Syartlanova Street had never been completely repaired for the 34-year history of the branch. “For today, almost everything requires repair: walls, ceilings, communications, and power supply systems. We are glad that our patients will soon be observed in good, beautiful offices, in comfortable conditions, and our employees will be pleased to work in such a place”, she noted.

About 16 million rubles were allocated for the repair of the polyclinic within the framework of the republican program. Roofing, the network of engineering and technical support (hot and cold water supply, sewerage, ventilation, electricity), and the facade will be repaired by these means, the windows will be replaced, and the finishing works will be carried out.

Communicating with the staff of the polyclinic, I. Metshin marked that according to statistics 80% of the population turn to the institutions of the primary network. “One of our long-awaited programs is the repair of the primary network, the children's and the adult. Thanks to the President of Tatarstan for the decision to bring the entire primary network in order for three years”, said the Mayor.

The head doctor of the polyclinic noted in conversation with the Mayor of Kazan that the upcoming overhaul is a great help for the polyclinic. However, only 10% of the funds out of 16 million rubles are allocated for furniture. Another issue is the lack of parking for patients and wheelchair near the clinic. The Mayor instructed to consider these issues.

Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee, Ilnur Halfiyev, the head of the Health Department, Andrei Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, and others also took part in the inspection.
