The Kazan “Rubin” played a draw with the “Orenburg” at home

(KZN.RU, March 11). The Kazan “Rubin” played a draw with the “Orenburg” in the match of the 19th round of the Russian Football Championship. The meeting at the Central Stadium of the Tatarstan’s capital ended with a score of 0:0. Ildar Khalikov, the Prime Minister of the RT, Kamil Iskhakov, the assistant to the President of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan and the President of the FC “Rubin”, and others watched the game.

In the first period, the teams showed a cautious game and created a few acute moments. Kazan players could open a score and made a good attack. However, the defender of the guests managed to take away the ball from Rifat Zhemaletdinov, midfielder of the “Rubin”, and didn’t allow the home team to score a goal.

In the second half of the game, the players actively conducted attacks, creating dangerous moments at the gate. Zhonathas, the Kazan forward, struck to the corner of the gate after the pass of Zhemaletdinov, but didn’t hit the aim. Gekdeniz Karadeniz, the midfielder of the “Rubin”, also had the opportunity to open a score, but the ball fell into the player of the “Orenburg” after his strike from the penalty area. In the last minutes of the game, Kazan players made a series of attacks, but the guests didn’t allow scoring a goal.
