(KZN.RU,
February 28, Mikhail Chentsov). The overhaul program of primary health care
institutions in Kazan starts this year. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor, informed of
the decision, taken by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, during
the examination of the already renovated Children's City Clinical Hospital №7.
As the Mayor noted, the Republican three-year program is designed for more than
7 billion rubles.
“The
President has a great desire to overhaul the entire primary network of Kazan
for three years. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of this
program. For today, our hospitals, children’s, adults’, and republican medical
centers are at the highest level but the primary network is slightly behind.
Thanks to the President for this decision”, said I. Metshin.
The
Children's City Clinical Hospital №7 is located in six separate buildings. The
main one is at the street Aidarova, 2a. The facility has 3 specialized
departments, catering to the children population not only in the Aviastroitelny
district but the whole city. The stationary care is provided to children in the
hospital in following fields: allergology, pulmonology, pediatrics.
Carrying
out a phased repair of hospital buildings is underway since 2008. 167.6 million
rubles have been allocated in this time for capital repairs and equipping of
the hospital facilities, including 23 million rubles from the city budget and
144.6 million rubles from the budget of Tatarstan.
The Mayor
of Kazan, accompanied by Adel’ Vafin, the Minister of Health of the RT, and
Marat Galiullin, the head doctor of the hospital №7, inspected the renovated
premises of the institution: the registry, laboratory and treatment room,
allergy-center, ultrasound diagnostics office and physiotherapy department. “As
a father, I have the feeling that the children will recover faster in these conditions.
The atmosphere is like in a kindergarten. It's like any good family children's
hotel. I hope that such conditions will appear in all health centers of the
city over the next three years”, I. Metshin shared his impressions.
A. Vafin
said that the modernization of health clinics is another step towards providing
people with the quality health care. “The decision that was taken by the
President, allows saying that we will be able to change the situation and
increase the population satisfaction of the quality of medical care for a short
period of time and that people would want to go to our institutions. Prevention
is very important. Not only to come due to illness but to come in time to be
vaccinated, to be examined. There is everything for this”, said the Minister of
Health of the RT.
The need
for modernization of primary health care institutions was discussed at the XIII
session of the Kazan City Duma. “We have upgraded the largest medical centers,
put in order, but the question of clinics remained open. I think, we will start
the program this year”, said R. Minnikhanov at the session.
Damir
Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Timur Alibaev, the
