Ilsur Metshin took part in a meeting on the completion of the distressed homes

(KZN.RU, January 21). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, held a meeting on the completion of the housing problem objects in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny today in the Government House of the RT.

Alex Pesoshin, the first deputy Prime Minister of the RT, who is in charge of the problem object completion, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and Nail Magdeyev, the Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny, which made a brief presentation about the situation on the construction progress, as well as representatives of the initiative groups of shareholders participated in the meeting.

Ilsur Metshin said that the construction of five distressed residential buildings was completed in 2016. This is a house №2 in the residential complex “Symphony”, a house on the street Urmanche, 6 (sections 2, 3), the house of the street Baroudi, 4, the house on the street Behterev, 3, and one section of the house №1 in the RC “MChS”. In addition, it is planned to put into operation a problem house on the street Chetaev/Adoratsky and residential building on the street Chetaev in 2017.

Ilsur Metshin reported in details on the situation with the objects of unfinished housing construction of companies “Sway” and “Mag-stroy” in Kazan (high-rise buildings along the Prospect Amirhana, streets Chetaev, Dostoevsky, Academician Gubkin, Pavlyuhin, Fucik, Noksinsky Spusk, and others).

The Mayor of Kazan turned to the Tatarstan President with a request to assist in the connecting utilities to troubled houses and to include these kinds of works in the investment program of the network companies. Representatives of the shareholders expressed the same request during the meeting.

At the meeting, shareholders were able to ask any questions Rustam Minnikhanov, Aleksey Pesoshin and heads of cities. Most of them were questions, which relate to the alleged deadlines of entering of houses, variants of funds research to continue construction.

Responding to questions, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic's leadership understands the situation with real estate investors. “Unfortunately, it is impossible to solve all these problems quickly”, he said. “We are seeking all of the assets and involving them in the process of construction. The order was given to the administration of Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan to allocate land and to route funds, received from the sale, for the completion of distressed homes. But land resources are too limited. If there are available apartments in troubled homes, you can find a structure that will redeem them and invest the most money in the course of construction. As a result of this meeting, the protocol will be issued, appropriate instructions will be given. I promise you that the representatives of city administrations will always meet with you. I am also willing to meet with you again closer to the summer time”.

Turning to real estate investors, Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Do not think that we, the officials, are inhuman. I personally feel very unfortunate that you are in such a difficult situation. Very large job is carrying out with all the houses. I get information on a weekly basis. Let us move forward, use every opportunity to provide support. There is a particularly serious situation in Kazan. As for Naberezhnye Chelny, I think that we can put an end to it in the current 2017”, the press-service of the President of the RT quotes the head of the Republic.
