R. Minnikhanov and I. Metshin inspected a new platform for robotics in the children's center “Zarnitsa”
(KZN.RU, December 25). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, visited the children's scientific and entertainment center “Zarnitsa” (the stadium “Kazan Arena”), where today the opening of a new station for the study of robotics “KibernetikUM” took place.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Roman Shaikhutdinov, the vice-premier of the RT and the Minister of Information and Communication of the RT, Engel Fattakhov, the deputy Prime Minister of the RT and the Minister of Education and Science of the RT, Artur Abdulzyanov, the general director of the production association “Zarnitsa”, and others accompanied Rustam Minnikhanov.
The “KibernetikUM” is a unique educational platform, aimed at the study of robotics kids, electronics, 3D-design and programming.
During the inspection of locations, Rustam Minnikhanov was told that special methods of teaching, using Lego designers, TETRIX, as well as equipment specifically manufactured for the “Zarnitsa”, were designed for visitors.
7 training courses are organized on the basis of the “KibernetikUM” station: the space simulation class, the industrial robotics, the general electronics, the educational robotics, the electronics lab, the 3D-modeling class, and the design class for children from 5 to 8 years.
Leaders of the “KibernetikUM” reported that experienced tutors will teach with young technicians. Classes are held on unique educational methods, which were developed in conjunction with specialists of the Innopolis University.
Rustam Minnikhanov got acquainted with classrooms, laboratories and workshops, children's educational station.
After that, the President of Tatarstan visited the entertainment area “Yurkin Park: Ice Age”, reports the press-service of the head of the republic. The popular venue with dinosaur models was complemented by snow slides, a large skating rink, cross-kart for studded driving and other infrastructure for family recreation. The residence of Ded Moroz is working for children.
