Sergei Lobov resigned as the head of the public relations and media department of the Kazan City Duma
(KZN.RU, December 14, Alsu Safina). Sergei Lobov, the head of Public Relations and Media Office of the Kazan City Council, left his post. This was announced today at the session of the Kazan City Duma. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Tatarstan's capital, handed him a Diploma of Kazan and wished success to the new location.
“Sergei Lobov was called to the ranks from which he came - on TV. The republic's leadership has entrusted him the important and crucial area for work”, said Ilsur Metshin. The Mayor marked that they have worked with Sergei Lobov for many years, the most memorable period was the of preparation and holding of the Universiade.
Sergei Lobov, in reply, said that today is exactly 8 years as he headed the press-service of the Mayor of Kazan. “A lot was difficult for this time, but it was an exciting time”, said C. Lobov. “The main thing for me is an invaluable experience, which has always been shared by the Mayor”, he added. “I had a great teacher for all these years”.
Sergei Lobov will become the Chief Executive Officer of the television company“Tatrstan-24”. He thanked the President and the Government of Tatarstan for their trust. “I will do everything to justify it”, he said.
