Kazan students start improving city parks
(KZN.RU, June 22, by Taisiya Basharkina) Immediately after completing their examinations - in early July - the students of Kazan Architectural University will start beautification of urban parks and gardens.
A total of ten parks and gardens will be improved; this will be the first phase of the "100 Gardens" project.
The students will implement their projects from scratch: they were first engaged in the design and are now moving from theory to practice. Each area will be divided into functional zones. The students will do the landscaping, install lighting systems and plant trees and shrubs.
Thirty-eight 4th year architecture students will take part in the project. The ten parks will be ready by the City Day, August 30.
