The central streets of Kazan turned into a racing track in the City Day

(KZN.RU, August 30). The central streets of Kazan turned into a racing track in the City and Republic Day: the auto show “Kazan City Racing” was held in the capital of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, Ramin Guluzade, the Minister of Communications and High Technologies of the Azerbaijan Republic, Nikolai Nikiforov, the Minister of Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Leonov, the Minister of Youth and Sport of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others have become spectators of the auto show. The guests visited the exhibition of participant cars and watched the performances.

Stand of the legendary team from Naberezhnye Chelny “KAMAZ-master” has attracted the attention of visitors at the exhibition. Tatarstan leader was photographed with members of the “Blue armada”, and then proceeded to the racetrack, where demonstrations of eminent athletes began.

Stuntmen Terry Grant, driving the “Nissan 350Z”, and Lee Bowers, riding a motorcycle “Kawasaki”, took to the track first. Both professionals are from the UK, the owners of many awards and records, performed individual and joint tricks. They surprised the Kazan audience with a variety of acrobatic tricks.

Following the British, two trucks of the “KAMAZ-master” - the old and new samples – went on the track. Airat Mardeev and Eduard Nikolaev, the team's pilots and the winners of “Dakar”, showed the public all the skill of driving juggernaut, making twists and turns at high speed.

Russian teams “Legend Stant Team” and “Fail Crew” demonstrated skills of driving motorcycles and cars. There was a wide variety of tricks performed at high speed. And Maxim Twardowski and Taras Shatov, members of the “Russian Drift Alliance”, showed all their skills of drift. Timur Timerzyanov, an eminent Tatarstan racer, also went on the road with demonstration runs, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
