In Kazan primaries for the selection of candidates for the elections to the Duma are held
(Kazan City KZN.RU, May 22). Today in Kazan, as well as throughout Russia, a preliminary vote for the subsequent nomination of candidates from the party "United Russia" in the State Duma of the Russian Federation is held.
20% of polling stations are opened for the primaries in Kazan. They began their work at 8 a.m. and throughout the day, until 8 p.m., Kazan residents will be coming to their district areas and give voices for favorite candidates.
In contrast to the upcoming elections to the State Duma, the residents can vote in the primaries for multiple applicants. The single day of early voting is attended by heads of structural divisions of the Executive Committee of Kazan, republican ministries and departments, some of the officials have already voted. So Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, the head of the Executive Committee of the city of Denis Kalinkin and others already voted in the primaries.
Among voters - Fatih Sibagatullin, who voted for the candidate of the Volga Federal District №26 on the site at the school №35, Ildar Gilmutdinov, who came to the DC "Polymer" to vote for the candidate of the Moscow district №27, and Irshat Minkin, who made his choice for the Central District of the candidate №31 on the site at school №110.
The result of the preliminary vote will affect the list of candidates for the State Duma from "United Russia". According to the regulations, the preliminary results of the voting shall be announced in regional counting commission until May 25, in the same period the results are summed by regional organizing committees. The final list of candidates for a single constituency, single-mandate constituencies will be formed in June at the party congress.
Recall the results of participation in pre-vote must be taken into account in the nomination of "United Russia" in the Duma elections, which will take place in a single day of voting September 18 to a mixed system.
