Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazan
(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 22). Today Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazan with a working visit. He holds a meeting of the Council under the Russian President for Development of Physical Culture and Sports in Kazan, which is attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
Participants of the meeting discuss issues of development of Russian hockey, holding of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Moscow in 2016 and the preparation of the national team for the Winter Olympic Games in 2018. Russian President will take part in opening ceremony of the European Championship in judo at the site of "Tatneft-Arena".
Recall, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov arrived on an official visit to Kazan. They also participate in the meeting of the Presidential Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.
