Kazan became the winner of international award “Eventex awards-2016”

(Kazan City KZN.RU, March 21). March 17 in Bulgaria the results of “Eventex awards-2016” international award were announced - Kazan won silver in the category "Best Event on results of 2015". The capital of Tatarstan received prestigious award for flash mob "Embrace the Kremlin", which brought together more than two thousand residents and visitors. This was announced today at the Business Monday in the Executive Committee of the city by the Chairman of Tourism Promotion Committee of Kazan Mikhail Zotov.

As M.Zotov told, «Eventex awards» was founded in 2011 and has become a global annual event honoring a professional event-making throughout the world. Flash mob "Embrace the Kremlin", which was held on August 8 last year with the support of the Mayor’s Office of Kazan, has allowed the city to express itself and to become a leader once again. "This flash mob gathered more than two thousand participants, who confessed their love for the city, holding hands around its main attraction - the Kazan Kremlin. Flash mob was praised by the jury, including professionals from around the world", - M.Zotov said.

In the ranking of the best experiences only Bulgaria was ahead of the capital of Tatarstan and the third place went to Macedonia.

Mayor of the capital of RT Ilsur Metshin stressed that this achievement is the merit of the citizens and thanked Kazan residents for participation in the action. "The award was won by our active citizens, for which I thank them very much! This flash mob really has attracted attention of federal mass media and Western journalists, it has became an occasion for discussion and presentation of our city abroad. We are grateful to all residents and visitors of the city for support of the action", - I. Metshin said.
