Ilsur Metshin monitored the progress of major overhaul of kindergarten №223
(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 3, Ksenia Shvetsova). Over the past 5 years 36 kindergartens worth over 372 million rubles were repaired in Kazan. According to the plans this year 3 more buildings of preschools will be updated. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited one of these objects today. He monitored the progress of the repair of kindergarten №223 in the Kirovsky district and requested to complete all the work since the beginning of the new school year.
As known, in recent years more than a hundred new kindergartens were built in Kazan. However, the problem of major overhaul of the old ones remains very important. So kindergarten №223 for 120 children was built over 50 years ago, in 1965. During this time the building became severely out of date: electrical wiring, water supply network, sewage communications dilapidated, the roof was leaking. The long-awaited overhaul began in January of this year.
How the head of the institution Endzhe Litvinova told, overhaul of the building of the kindergarten was the perfect gift for his 50th birthday. "We are pleased that were included in the schedule of overhaul, it's time to update the building", - said the head.
Mayor in his tern ordered builders to proceed fast with the repairs, but the top priority should be the quality of work. "We should not hurry up and do it heroically; all you need is to do thoroughly. Especially in the summer the need for kindergartens reduces. But by August, when parents with children are returning from holidays, it is necessary to complete all the work", - I. Metshin charged.
It is planned to repair another 3 buildings of preschool institutions amounting to more than 87.5 million rubles as part of the overhaul of educational institutions of Kazan in 2016.
The examination of the reconstructed building was attended by Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Social Affairs Natalia Grechannikova, Head of the administration of Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Damir Fattakhov.
