I. Metshin: "We need the support of the population in the fight against counterfeiting"
(Kazan City KZN.RU, December 14). In Kazan the fourth stage a city-wide campaign "People's inventory" starts. From today on January 31, 2016 citizens can report about points of sale of counterfeit alcohol. Mayor Ilsur Metshin called citizens to be vigilant and stand up to fight with counterfeit alcohol at today's Business Monday in the Executive Committee of the city.
"So far we are receiving signals that the counterfeit sale points continue work in semi-legal regime. Therefore, we more than ever need the support of the population, - said I. Metshin. - Counterfeiting undermines the health of our people, only this year in Tatarstan 300 people were killed from it. Our common security is at stake, so it is necessary to combat with this evil by the whole world". Citizens who will take part in the action will be traditionally encouraged for the activity.
It was decided not by chance to conduct the fourth phase of a citywide action "People's inventory" now - on the eve of holidays, as a rule, illegal importation and sale of counterfeit vodka and other alcoholic beverages become greater. As the chairman of the Committee of Land and Property Relations of the Executive Committee of the city Renat Galyautdinov told, for each received report the Committee staff will go, collect information, and the results of all the violations will be revealed to the relevant authorities. "In each case of the detection of counterfeit alcohol organizations that distribute alcohol and persons involved in the marketing of counterfeit products, including owners and tenants, will be brought to responsibility," - said R. Galyautdinov.
Citizens can send messages to non-stop phone 200-04-04, Internet-reception the Mayor of Kazan and the Committee of Land and Property Relations. Also on site of CLPR Internet service, that allows citizens to be logged in on the site via mobile devices and to send requests for verification of points with the addition of photos of objects and their identification marker on the map, is working.
