(Kazan City
KZN.RU, November 20, Ksenia Shvetsova). A new kindergarten №175 named
"Filippok" opened in a residential area "Kazan XXI Century"
of the Sovietsky district of Kazan. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin congratulated
pre-school pupils, their parents and teachers with the opening. Also the head
of the city inspected buildings of the second phase under construction of the
residential complex "Kazan XXI Century" - the complex "Seventh
Heaven" and studied the development plan for the coming years.
“Sovetsky
district is one of the most densely populated in Kazan, so the opening of a new
kindergarten in its territory is an important event for all of us - the Mayor appealed
to parents and preschool staff. – I am very pleased that our children have the
opportunity to go to kindergartens and realize their talents”.
The
two-story building of the new kindergarten was built by "Ak Bars
Story" and designed for 260 places. In total 13 groups are working there, including 3 groups with the
Tatar language of study, as well as music, theater and dance studios, eco,
chess and checkers clubs. 2 speech therapy groups will be opened for the
children in the future.
Construction
of two kindergartens, one of which is "Filippok", is planned at the
project of building the residential area "Kazan XXI Century". The
first phase of the area "Kazan XXI Century" of 20 houses has been
provided with modern education center with 1100 seats with an indoor swimming
pool and a stadium and 3 kindergartens in 2010.
Now residential
complex "Seventh Heaven" is actively being built in the district. Here
on the total area of 8.5 hectares 7 apartment houses with total area of 122
thousand square meters will be located. In addition to the new kindergarten apartment
building with area of over 7000 square meters is put into operation. Another apartment
building is planned to settle by the end of the year in the complex. Also plans
of developers include opening of another kindergarten for 160 places and a
secondary school for 1100 children.
Opening of
new educational institutions has a special significance for Kazan, said the Mayor.
Not the first year there is the so-called baby boom in the city, so opening of new
kindergartens and schools will remain one of the priorities of the city
authorities.
Congratulating
the "newcomers", the Mayor gave the children a cake and handed a
certificate for the purchase of sports equipment to the stuff of a new
kindergarten.
"Every
year we beat records of fertility in Kazan, and it is a great joy for us - said
I. Metshin. - There is no greater happiness than having a baby born. So I want
to wish you happiness and good health of your children. And we will do
everything to ensure that they grow up in the most beautiful and comfortable
city".
