(Kazan City
KZN.RU, November 2, Ksenia Shvetsova). Any violation of the culture of
passenger service by the bus drivers must be understood as a state of emergency
in the city. This was stated by Mayor Ilsur Metshin at the Business Monday,
commenting on the complaint of one of the residents of Kazan on the rude
behavior of the bus driver that came through online reception of the Mayor’s
Office.
"This
situation is unacceptable, we should immediately take comprehensive measures.
Any such fact should be seen as a state of emergency - I. Metshin resented. -
There it is necessary to dismiss such workers with entering a black list so
that they would know that other MTE also would not give a job to them. I do not
understand why we still wrestle with this problem; we have solved much more
global issues. The culture of service has not been canceled. In the meantime we
state that not passengers, but money are important for the transport companies".
As one of
the solution to the problem of the Mayor of Kazan proposed to install video
cameras in the driver's cabin of the bus, which will be able to identify such auto
cads. Despite the fact that this will lead to additional costs, the
municipality is ready to go to such measures to get rid of careless drivers.
The Mayor
also proposed to deprive the rights of transport companies to service routes in
the case of individual complaints of passengers. If there will be a lot of such
complaints, the company will not be able to participate in municipal
competition for the carriage, in which requirements for the behavior of drivers
are clearly defined, as the Mayor recalled.
