September 13, Adelia Galieva). Elections take place in Kazan
in the atmosphere of the holiday - the residents choose what will be tomorrow in
the capital of the Republic
of Tatarstan together.
This opinion was expressed by Mayor Ilsur Metshin after he participated in the
elections of the President of the Republic
of Tatarstan and Kazan
City Duma deputies of the third convocation. The Mayor and his wife voted at
the station №270, which is located in the school building №129 in the Petrovsky
village of the Privolzhsky district.
After the
voting procedure Ilsur Metshin congratulated all with the holiday in Kazan. "The
elections for us are always a holiday, we together with you choose the future
of Kazan, Tatarstan" - said the Mayor of the city and invited all citizens
to a great family holiday, which takes place today in the area near the stadium
"Kazan Arena".
The Mayor
also called for Kazan
residents to be active and go to the polling place to vote. "I encourage
everyone to come and make your choice - for the stability of Tatarstan, for the
well-organized, well-groomed, beautiful Kazan!"
- said Ilsur Metshin.
Today in
Tatarstan presidential elections and deputies of representative bodies of
municipal formations of the republic, including the election of deputies of
Kazan City Duma of the third convocation are held. Voting takes place in the 25
single-mandate constituencies in Kazan.
As it was previously reported at KZN.RU, July 1, 2015 904,098 voters were
registered in the capital of Tatarstan.
In addition
to the municipal elections, citizens of Kazan are
takeing part in the elections of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Four candidates: Rustam Minnikhanov ("United Russia"), Hafiz
Mirgalimov (KPRF), Rushaniya Bilgildeeva ("Fair Russia"), Ruslan
Yusupov (LDPR) are claimed on the post of head of the republic. This is the
first direct elections of the President of our republic for the past 15 years.

in Tatarstan "hot line" of the Central Election Commission is working
by the numbers: (843) 292-56-42, 292-85-14. Today the "hot line" will
be working 24 hours.
Also, after
the Election Day the stadium "Kazan Arena" will host a family holiday
"We can! We are together!” There will be a variety of thematic areas and a
concert featuring the best bands and singers of Tatarstan and Russia.
