KZN.RU, August 11). The Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam
Minnikhanov visited an exhibition complex “Park Anhembi “ during two-day visit
to Sao Paulo (Brazil). He was accompanied by the Assistant of the President of
the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, head
of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Talija Minullina and others.
Earlier the
Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan praised Russia's bid to host
WSC-2019 in Kazan. Except Russia, France (Paris) and Belgium (Charleroi) have
expressed desire to host the World Cup for professional skills.
Acting
President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the members of the official Russian
delegation visited the exhibition complex "Park Anhembi", where August
11 competitions on basic s competencies «WorldSkills» are going to start.
Rustam Minnikhanov wes told about the order of the World Cup and the conditions
created for participants. Then Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition hall,
where representatives of countries - members of the current World Cup launched their
expositions. The Russian Federation is represented at several locations.
One of the
largest is owned by the state corporation "Rosatom" - an
international industrial partner of «WorldSkills» movement. The model of
the nuclear power plant is in the center of the exhibition. Director of the
Department of Communication of the state corporation "Rosatom" Sergei
Novikov said that the main objective of the project is to tell visitors about
the benefits of nuclear energy: in industry, agriculture and other industries.
Each of these topics materialized in the form of special units. Apparatus for
water purification, production of souvenirs, as well as a device for measuring
the background radiation of a person are among them. Rustam Minnikhanov was proposed
to test this technology: radiation background of Acting President of the
Republic of Tatarstan amounted to about 7 thousand Bq, which is a natural
level.
Rustam
Minnikhanov highly appreciated the level of organization of the pavilion, and
offered some ideas to use in organizing exhibitions in the Republic of
Tatarstan. The pavilion will be working from 12 to 16 August, the press service
