Maximum of equipment will be involved to remove snow from Kazan streets
(KZN.RU, February 28, Taisiya Basharkina). We have to carry out snow as much as possible to minimize consequences of spring flooding. Such a task has been set today by Ilsur Metshin at Business Monday.

Primarily snow is removed from streets without storm water drains.
As Alexander Lobov, Deputy Head of Improvements and Housing Maintenance and Utilities reported, the city entered upon anti-flooding measures.
The Mayor set heads of districts together with EMERCOM a task to elaborate a detailed city map showing all possible zones of underflooding. “These parts must be cleaned from snow primarily”, I. Metshin added. “Every head of the district must pay careful attention to these parts”, the Mayor underlined.
