Russian synchronized swimmers won another gold medal in 2015 World Cup
(Kazan City KZN.RU, July 27, Albert Murtazin). Russian team in the synchronized swimming won gold medal at XVI FINA World Championships following the results of the command performances in technical program. Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan Vladimir Leonov, Director of the International Federation FINA Julio Maglione and others came to cheer the Russian athletes up in the championship, which was held in "Kazan Arena".
The first days of the championship have shown that synchronized swimming consistently causes the high interest of the audience. A lot of fans also were at today's competition, and among them the head of the capital of Tatarstan supported the athletes.
Many experts predicted the gold medal for the Russian team, because our athletes are holding the leading positions in synchronized swimming for more than one decade. As a result of hard and spectacular fight Chinese women took silver and Japanese - bronze.
Recall, XVI World Aquatics Championship passes from July 24 to August 9 2015 in Kazan. The games are attended by about 2,400 athletes from 190 countries. At competitions in Kazan record in the history of the championship amount of awards will be drawn - 75 sets in six sports.
