July 10, Zilya Gayfi). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited the rehearsal of Kazan
children's symphony orchestra, which will represent Tatarstan at the
international festival in Italy in July. Before a responsible performance at
the VII International festival of choirs and orchestras Ilsur Metshin wished
children success and assured that the city will continue to support the
participation of the orchestra in various cultural projects. The meeting was
held in the auditorium of the children's music school №5.
According to
Ilsur Metshin, a serious long-term goal of young musicians is to develop pride for
their hometown in citizens. "It’s a great pleasure to come and listen to a
real classical music at the work time. Hats off to the way children are
rehearsing, they do it with great enthusiasm! We are very proud of you. You are
the future of our culture. We hope that our State Symphony Orchestra of the
Republic of Tatarstan, the orchestra «La Primavera», Orchestra of Opera and
Ballet Theatre of .M.Dzhalil and other eminent collectives will be replenished
with your talents "- said the Mayor.
Kazan
Children's Symphony Orchestra was created in 2012 on the initiative of the
Department of Culture of Kazan in collaboration with the Kazan State Symphony
Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan. The first successful performance of the
orchestra took place in the framework of the Universiade at the S.Rahmaninov International Festival "White Lilac". Today the orchestra
consists of 75 children from 17 music schools of Kazan. The Orchestra won victory
in international competitions in Prague at Mozart competition and the "Viva, Kazan!" competition,
participated in the festival "Property of the Republic", the award
ceremony "Philanthropist of the Year", in project "Children to veterans",
"Music Lessons", "Plumage 2014"supported by K.Habensky charity
fund, concerts in the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan. Musicians
are the happy owners of scholarships of Mayor of Kazan. Children conquer cities
of Russia – sold-out concerts were held in Zelenodolsk, Verkhny Uslon,
Yelabuga, Nizhnekamsk, Bolgar, Perm.
According
to the head of the city, Kazan has all chances to become the full owner of the status
"the most musical city in Russia." The capital of Tatarstan is ahead
of other cities of our country to give artistic and aesthetic education to children.
Every third child aged 6 to 15 years studying in music or art school. In the
most difficult years of the post-crisis wave in the capital of Tatarstan all
cultural objects and groups not only have been kept, but also new ones have
been opened. Ilsur Metshin stressed the need to continue to create areas of
cultural leisure to instill "cultural virus" to children from a very
early age, and to educate them as listeners, readers and viewers.
