Ilsur Metshin obliged management companies to account for
(KZN.RU, Feb. 7, Elena Chembaeva). Each resident should get answers to all questions related to tariffs on housing and utility services. Such an order has been given today at the Business Monday by Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.
Since tomorrow the Housing Maintenance and Utilities Committee of the Executive Committee of Kazan will have started to work on a 4-channel hotline: 292-21-02. Citizens can ask questions every day from 8.00 to 20.00.
Also in the near future there will be meetings of the managing companies’ heads with homeowners at which they will report on their activities over the past year. Representatives for the Executive Committee, district administrations, and deputies of Kazan City Duma will take part in the meetings.
"Management companies must report on every penny spent, for each item that has been done and what will be done next year", the Mayor of Kazan underlined.
At these meetings residents can ask all questions related to new tariffs for housing and utilities services.
Mayor of Kazan asked homeowners to participate actively in such meetings. "Let's control the management companies together. They had time to recover. Now it is time to assess their job", Ilsur Metshin summed up.
