The exhibition “The Art of Portrait”

I am convinced that Kazan is not only a sports capital, but also a cultural one! It is enough just to look at the poster to see this. A new event for connoisseurs of art was the new exhibition “Art of Portrait” at the center “Hermitage-Kazan”. The State Hermitage brought to us more than 400 works of painting, sculpture, archeology, numismatics, applied art, and photography in the portrait genre. The exhibition covers 40 centuries and gives us the opportunity to look into the eyes of the people of antiquity, to see what they looked like, what emotions they experienced. I am glad that such a large-scale exhibition, first created by the Hermitage, is being held here in Kazan. We say “welcome” to any projects that help our residents learn something new!
