The summer book festival in the park “Chernoe Ozero”

On June 10-11, the summer book festival, organized by the Center of Contemporary Culture “Smena”, will be held in the Kazan park “Chernoe Ozero”.

I remember how we took the first shy steps together, thought if this project will get accustomed. But now we invite everyone for the 7th time to the festival, which is grow bigger every year: the geography of participants is expanding, many Russian and foreign experts are coming, the number of participating publishers is growing, Tatar literature and children's playgrounds are represented.

We dreamed of filling our parks with life. And the summer book festival is a good step towards it. This is another opportunity for Kazan book lovers to touch high-quality literature. I really want Kazan to be cultural and reading. And most importantly that such festivals become the standard practice in our city.

I plan to attend the event and invite everyone who just like me prefers the rustle of pages over electronic books.
