Ilsur Metshin meets Mayor of Verona
(KZN.RU, March 6, by Ekaterina Andreeva). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with Mayor of Verona Flavio Tosi at Kazan City Hall. The parties presented the cities’ potential and identified the areas of further cooperation.
Ilsur Metshin thanked the guests for their "initiative in strengthening and developing the Russian-Italian relations." "We support the long-standing partnership in politics, economy and culture," said the head of Tatarstan’s capital. He also recalled that in April last year, an agreement on relationship and partnership was signed between Kazan and Verona as part of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (OWHC) proceedings.
It should also be recalled that earlier the development of bilateral cooperation between Kazan and Verona was discussed at a meeting between Ilsur Metshin and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banca Intesa, Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Verona, Mr. Antonio Fallico.
"Today's meeting is a continuation of our partnership. We are ready to arrange any meetings with those Italian companies that are interested in the cooperation,” concluded the mayor.
