(KZN.RU, March 6, by Taisiya Basharkina) New entries were made in the Book of Honor at an awards ceremony "Woman of the Year. Man of the Year: Women's Vision” held at Kazan City Hall. Traditionally, the ceremony takes place on the eve of the International Women's Day. It was attended by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.
Director of the Russian Federation Institute of Legislation and Comparative Jurisprudence Talia Khabrieva was thus honored for her significant contribution to the strengthening of Kazan’s image as an international center for the development of local self-government.
Ms. Khabrieva is the author of 160 scientific papers, an editor, a co-author of monographs, an active developer of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, one of the drafters of the law on local government and a senior consultant in the development of the charter of Kazan.
The other honoree is Galina Nazipova, director of school No.39 of Vakhitovsky District, recognized for her significant contribution to the development and implementation of new educational approaches and providing the necessary conditions for effective education.
