Today, Ilsur Metshin, Kazan Mayor, visited Kazancompressormash (Kazan compressor building plant), where he got acquainted with the compliance of security measures during the special epidemiological regime.
The head of the city noted that 130 out of 140 city-forming enterprises are currently working.
“Our city-forming enterprises can be compared to the blood vessels of a healthy body. You can get sick, but if the brain is fine, the heart is working, the lungs are breathing, you should get back on your feet. Today,130 out of 140 city-forming enterprises are working. And this proves that the urban economy is working and living. This is crucial, and it is encouraging. And in the fight against coronavirus, optimism is the most main medicine”, - the Mayor of Kazan emphasized.
Ilnur Sagdiev, Managing Director of Kazancompressormash, walked the Mayor of the city around the territory of the plant. The head of the enterprise said that the plant stopped its operation only for the first week of self-isolation regime – from March 30 to April 5.
