The Russian Venture Forum is held in Kazan
(KZN.RU, April 19). The Russian Venture Forum in Kazan will be an excellent platform for the exchange of experience in the field of innovation. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, announced this at the opening of one of the largest events of the venture market. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, also took part in the ceremony, which took place in the GTRK “Korston”.
The head of the republic recalled how this forum was born. Kazan Venture Fair is held since 2005. In 2015, it acquired a new status of the Russian Venture Fair, and after another 2 years became the Russian Venture Forum. 603 companies-exhibitors, more than 600 investors from Russia and from abroad, more than 12 thousand participants from 70 cities of Russia and 30 foreign countries took part in the forum for the whole period of its holding.
“I welcome all participants, our foreign partners, representatives of Russian regions. I hope that this forum will become an excellent platform for communicating, exchanging experience in the field of innovation. This is very important for our region and for our country”, said Rustam Minnikhanov.
The program of the Russian Venture Forum in 2018 included congress and exposition blocks. The key event is a plenary session on the subject “The Venture Market Today and Tomorrow, Strategic Perspectives”. After the opening ceremony, the participants and honorary guests inspected the exposition of innovative companies, participants of the Acceleration program of 2018, and the exposition of the infrastructure for supporting the innovations of the RT, reports the press service of the President of the RT.
