R. Minnikhanov discussed the urban infrastructure developing with the representatives of the Higher School of Urban Studies
(KZN.RU, June 16). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, met with Alexei Novikov, the dean of the Higher School of Urban Studies of the Research University of the Higher School of Economics, and Vicente Guayart, the head of the Laboratory of Prototyping Future Cities “Shukhov Lab” and the chief architect of Barcelona (2011-2015).
The meeting took place in the Tatarstan Government House. Irek Fayzullin, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and others took part in it.
The parties discussed the development of public spaces and transport and urban infrastructure of Tatarstan and its capital. Natalia Fishman, an assistant of the President of the RT, briefly described the prospects of joint projects reports, the press service of the head of the republic.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked representatives of the Higher School of Urban Studies for their interest in cooperation with the region.
