Ilsur Metshin held a meeting with Mohamed Ali Rashed Alabbar

(KZN.RU, May 18, Anton Nozdrin). The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin held a meeting today with Mohamed Ali Rashed Alabbar, head of the Emaar Properties company, from the United Arab Emirates.

During the meeting they discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation. The Mayor of Kazan invited the representative of the Arab companies to invest in projects in the capital of Tatarstan. Accompanied by the Mayor the UAE delegation visited the Old Tatar settlement, where they saw a houses of  famous theologian Shigabutdin Marjani, merchant and public figure of Burhanuddin Mullin and tasted the dishes of national Tatar cuisine. In addition, the guests visited the waterfront of Kaban lake, waiting for a large-scale reconstruction, walked around the Kazan Kremlin, visited the Kul Sharif mosque.

The President of Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov also met Mohamed Ali Rashed Alabbar today. The parties discussed various options for cooperation in the field of commercial construction and residential properties. The meeting was attended by Ilsur Metshin; Radik Gimatdinov, aide to Tatarstan President; Taliya Minullina head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency; Alexey Frolov, first Deputy Minister of construction, architecture and housing of Tatarstan; and Timur Khairutdinov, trade and economic representative of Tatarstan in Dubai.

The UAE delegation arrived in Kazan at the invitation of the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
