(KZN.RU,
March 6, Mikhail Chentsov). Repairs in Kazan started in 67 houses of 244,
included in the overhaul program in 2017. Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy
head of the Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing Committee, said
this today at the traditional staff meeting in the Executive Committee.
As the
speaker noted, it is planned to complete the entire set of works in 130 houses
in the amount of 1 billion rubles. The renovation of houses is planned for a
total amount of 1.5 billion rubles this year.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, said that from a half billion of the allocated
funds, more than half (51% or 776 million) is the means of the population.
According to the Mayor, such distribution of the financial burden plays a
weighty role in the implementation of the overhaul program. “While other cities
were talking, the issue has been resolved in Tatarstan. Kazan became one of the
first capitals of the Federation’s subject, which has found an understanding
with the public. The result speaks for itself: more than 40% of housing has
been repaired for today. This is a major program, it affects the interests of
every citizen”, I. Metshin shared his opinion.
The Head of
the capital also noted that the city authorities appreciate the view of Kazan
citizens during the overhaul. “The common truth for us is to coordinate all
work on the overhaul with the population and make it accepted by the
population. It is important that engineering filling of houses is capitally
repaired: instruments of weather regulation and meters are installed, the mass
transition to individual heating units takes place, which will allow the
population to save money on payment of utility bills”, said the Mayor of Kazan.
In addition
to the program of repair of houses in his report, I. Giniyatullin also
announced plans for 2017 to upgrade community facilities. He said that 122
general educational institutions repaired in the amount of 2.8 billion rubles
for the 5 years of the overhaul program in schools over 30 years old, which was
launched at the initiative of Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan.
As I. Giniyatullin noted, repairs will take place in 12 schools in 2017, and
only four educational institutions will remain unrepaired.
Ilsur
Metshin particularly marked the importance of the presidential program,
pointing out that the conditions, in which Kazan schools were for decades were
awful. “Thanks to the President for one of the 35 unique republican
presidential programs. It is coming to an end there are only few unrepaired
school over 30 years left in Kazan. We will gradually move from the overhaul of
schools for the repair of kindergartens. If in two years we have done seven, this
year we will do nine”, concluded the Mayor.
