The meeting of the project seminar “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” was held in Kazan
(KZN.RU, March 6). The plenary session of the seminar on the priority project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment” was held in Kazan in the GTRC “Korston”. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, Mikhail Men’, the minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Farid Mukhametshin, the chairman of the Tatarstan State Council, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Irek Faizullin, the minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the RT, Natalya Fishman, the assistant to the President of the RT, and others attended the event.
Welcoming the participants, Rustam Minnikhanov said that the program of creation of comfortable conditions for the population in Tatarstan started 2 years ago. During this time, 189 objects in all municipalities have been settled, from Kazan to smaller regional centers. An integrated approach has been used in the implementation of the program, which began during the design and ended in operation of the facility, and the architects’ team was also gathered (“Architectural Troopers”), which is engaged in the creation, organization and supervision of the construction of the territories.
“This year we have a new program. We have started to work with our own resources. I am convinced that it is necessary to make this program a minimum of five years”, the Tatarstan Government Portal cites the words of the President.
Mikhail Men’ reminded in his speech that the start of this paper was given at the last year's meeting of the State Council, chaired by Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, on which the words of the improvement, the development of the urban environment were first sounded. Previously it was thought that it is the task of municipal authorities. As a result, the Russian Ministry of Construction in accordance with the request of the President of Russia and the Russian Government has prepared the priority project “Formation of a comfortable urban environment”.
