Ilsur Metshin visited the National Christmas village “Khan's court”

(KZN.RU, December 30). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the National Christmas village “Khan's court”. The area with winter entertainment for residents and guests of the Tatarstan’s capital, located in the International Equestrian Sport Complex “Kazan”, has opened its doors on the eve of the New Year for the first time.

The symbol of the village is a unique tree-house, the “Khan’s Palace”, the inside of which was examined by Ilsur Metshin. Ded Moroz met the head of the city there and congratulated the Mayor on the upcoming New Year and gave him a sweet gift.

Luisa Mingaleeva, the project manager, told the head of the city about the “Khan’s court” at the fair, where you can buy gifts and souvenirs from the best artists of Tatarstan. She noted that the program of festivities includes daily animation shows, performance of creative collectives of the Tatarstan’s capital. On January 1-8, the interactive program “Tales in the City” is waiting for the youngest guests. Visitors can also ride horses, and in the Husky Park - dogs, take part in various games and competitions, visit the outdoor skating rink.

Ilsur Metshin visited a national yurt. The representative of the peoples of the north told the governor about the traditions and customs of the nomads, showed throwing knives, bow, national costumes and entertained guests with tea. The Mayor of Kazan said that this is an interesting object, which can become a new point of attraction for residents and tourists.

The territory of the Equestrian complex has entertainment for sports fans. Ilsur Metshin visited the new mini-football arena. According to Irek Minnahmetov, the general director of the “Tatspirtprom”, which initiated the establishment of the project “Khan's court”, the opening of a paintball center in the International Equestrian Sport Complex “Kazan” is in future plans.

The “Khan's court” was opened in Kazan on December 24. Here you can buy gifts and souvenirs from the best artists of Tatarstan, try the national cuisine, and become a member of the winter Sabantui. The complex is open to the public until January 14.
