(KZN.RU,
December 5, Alsu Safina). According to the results of the last week I Open
Forum “Good Kazan: development of charity culture”, series of Kazan projects,
including the “Diary of good deeds”, taken up by the specialists from other
regions, and it is also proposed to create a public organization – the program
operator of charity projects.
Funds and
experts suggested the establishment of a public organization “Good Kazan”
during the forum, which would become the main program operator of the projects,
related to the development of charity culture.
“This is a
case where we did not expect such results”, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, at today's Business Monday. “Any first event always takes place with a
certain anxiety: is the chosen direction right, are the accents proper. But the
conversation went on a very fertile ground”.
“We set
ourselves the task to make this event the most useful for Kazan charities. For
that purpose we invited people who have achieved certain results and success in
this and who have a lot to teach others”, said Ilsur Metshin.
He drew
attention to the fact that topic of trust in charities and beneficiaries was
actively discussed during the forum. “This conversation was very important and
necessary”, said the Mayor.
According
to him, all the participants of the forum asked about the continuation of the
event. “The main thing is that there was the result and we learned from each
other. We would like to be in a constructive dialogue with colleagues and
non-profit organizations. This work should be systematic. The “Good Kazan” is
one of the most important priorities that we would like to realize in the
capital in the foreseeable future”, reminded the Mayor.
According
to him, Kazan was again in the trend, as Vladimir Putin, the President of
Russia, paid great attention to the theme of charity and philanthropy in his
message to the Federal Assembly last week.
According
to Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, a new
fundraising format as interactive machines, presented at the exhibition in the
framework of the forum, has attracted interest from experts from Moscow. “In
the near future we will consider the possibility of placing such machines in
malls, urban public spaces, parks”, said the speaker. “Experts have expressed
interest in scaling this experience outside Kazan, so we can say that we have
set a new interactive trend in fundraising”.
D.
Fattakhov noted that the “Diary of good deeds” was awarded a special
assessment, and many federal experts agreed that it should be owned not only by
Kazan schoolchildren.
According
to the speaker, long-term projects with a “Rusfond” became another important
result of the forum. Lev Ambinder, its president, made a proposal on a number
of joint projects with the City Hall of Kazan.
All forum
participants were asked to fill an online form, which will allow the organizers
to get feedback and to gather their proposals for the project “Good Kazan”.
