(KZN.RU,
November 30). The “Rubin” with a score of 1:0 has beaten the Tula "Arsenal"
in the last home match of the year. The game was held at the stadium
"Kazan Arena". Zhonatas, the Brazilian forward of Kazan, scored the
only goal in the midway through the second half. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan and the president of FC “Rubin”, watched the game.
Weather
conditions have predetermined the nature of the match: a low tempo and low
amount of moments in both gates. The first truly dangerous moment came on the
40 minute when, after a series of filing from the flank, ball bounced to Rifat
Zhemaletdinov, which beat without resistance from outside the penalty area, but
got into Henri Hagush, a defender of the “Arsenal”.
At the
beginning of the second half, Kazan players organized another good attack:
Ruben Rochin gave the pass outside of the foot to Zhonatas, but the Brazilian
unsuccessfully handled the ball. Another dangerous moment of the “Rubin” was a
hit of Maxim Lestienne, who hit the ball after a corner pass. But Mikhail
Levashov, the goalkeeper of visitors, was on the spot.
Goal
occurred on the 62 minute. Yann Mvila thrown Zhonatasa with a long pass to the
breach, the forward broke away from Maksim Belyaev and calmly struck the ball
past M. Levashov. Zhonatas celebrated the success very reservedly, giving arms
to the sky, thereby dedicating the goal to the Brazilian football team
“Chapecoense” deceased in a plane crash.
The ending
of the meeting was the complete opposite to the first half. Moments at the
gates of both teams began to emerge one after another. First R. Zhemaletdinov
struck too unsophisticated from a lethal position after the pass of Marko
Devich, and then some clear moments were created by guests. So, Sergey Ryzhikov
was marked by a remarkable saving in one of the episodes, and in the other -
the barbell has come to the aid of the “Rubin” goalkeeper.
After the
victory in the 16th round of the Russian Football Championship, Kazan players
scored 23 points and settled on the 8th place of the standings, reports the
press-service of the FC “Rubin”.
