November 5). The festival of Tatar song “Yзгәреш җиле” “Wind of
Change” was launched today on the stage of the Tatar State Academic Opera and
Ballet Theatre named after M. Jalil (Kazan). Rustam Minnikhanov, the President
of Tatarstan, Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counsellor of Tatarstan, Farid
Mukhametshin, the chairman of the Tatarstan State Council, Ilsur Metshin, the
Mayor of Kazan, and others were the guests of the festival.
Selection
of the best young performers of Tatar songs to perform at the festival was held
in the spring of 2015. This includes singers, who live and work in Tatarstan
and Russia, as well as performers from Moscow, and including the participants
of the project “The Voice”. As a result, 100 songs have been selected; concert
program includes about 50 of them in the performance of 24 young talented
singers. Tatarstan famous artists and teachers from Moscow, talented musicians,
arrangers worked with artists throughout the year.
The purpose
of the project is to modify the Tatar song and bring it to the international
level, reports the press-service of the President of the RT. The project “Yзгәреш җиле” can be seen at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow on December 4, 2016.
The project is held under the patronage of the President of the RT with the
support of the Ministry of Culture of the RT.
