Ilsur Metshin conducted the meeting of the Council on the development of the Strategy-2030

(KZN.RU, October 11, Zilya Gayfi). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, held the Council meeting in the framework of the Strategy of socio-economic development until 2030 today at the City Hall. Discussion on the future of the Kazan agglomeration was held with the participation of heads of Zelenodolsky, Pestrechinsky, Laishevsky, Verkhneuslonsky, Vysokogorsky regions of the republic.

Ilsur Metshin, opening the meeting, noted that the main role in the development of the territories in Tatarstan Strategy -2030 is fixed at three agglomerations: Kazan, Almetyevsk and Kama. The capital of Tatarstan is a leader in the Kazan agglomeration, but important tasks are assigned to the regions as well: form a functional structure of the agglomeration into a single connected space. Therefore Kazan-2030 development strategy involves the transfer of a number of production functions, consumption, recreation and tourism from center of the agglomeration into the districts.

The concept of “Kazan-2030”, according to Ilsur Metshin, includes characteristics of a comfortable and vibrant city with strong economic growth, public authorities and safe urban environment. In addition, in the future, Kazan will become a territory of health and the city, in which you want to come, so the future instrument will have an emphasis on the promotion of domestic tourism and improving the quality of citizens’ life.

The results of the development of municipal development strategy will be presented in Kazan in October.

Rustam Nigmatullin, the first deputy head of the municipal formation of Kazan, Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, Ildar Shakirov, the acting deputy head of the Executive Committee on Economic Development of Kazan and the chairman of Committee for Economic Development, Vladimir Gritskikh, the head of the local office for the development of the Strategy-2030, and others attended the event.
