Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, was a guest at the Togulevs family

October 5, Alsu Safina). Today Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor
of Kazan, was a guest at the Togulevs family, which has several occasions for celebration these days. Vera
Toguleva celebrated the 85th anniversary on October 1. In addition,
she is congratulated on a professional holiday of teachers on October 5 as a teacher with a quarter-century of
experience, the veteran of work, the Excellent of Public
Education. Ilsur Metshin joined in the congratulations.
“Today is a
beautiful sunny day. It says how sunny your family is”, said Ilsur
Metshin, as soon as the guests, were located at the festive table, among whom was
Andrei Lobov, the headof Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts.
The Mayor marked
that Vera Toguleva gave many years to the
school. “We trust the teachers with
the most precious: our children,
their formation takes place in the school”, he said, adding that Vera Toguleva continues to educate young people,
engaged in social work. Together with her
husband Lev Togulev, with whom they had lived for 62 years,
they are frequent visitors to the district’s schools and the orphanage “Gavroche”, where meetings
with students are held. “The teacher in you still lives”, noted Ilsur Metshin.
Lev Togulev, who is now 88 years old, told the
Mayor that he and his wife together since 1954, were married
in Ulyanovsk. Vera Toguleva was sent to
Ulyanovsk Chuvash School as a physical
education teacher in 1953 after graduating from the Faculty of Physical
Education of the Kazan Pedagogical Institute.
Parents
of Lev Togulev moved to Kazan
from Rybnoslobodsky district in 1930, when collectivization
began in the country. He was in military service
for 17
years and was discharged on Sakhalin. Before
that,
he served in the Moscow region, in China, in the Caucasus, in the Crimea. After
demobilization, he worked at the
plant “Sviyaga”, formerly known
as №708.
“You have a
wonderful bright and interesting fate”, said Ilsur
Metshin.
He
also asked the Togulevs couple about secret of happy and long married life. “There are no secrets: live in peace and harmony, hold firmly by the hand, not to let go”, said Vera Toguleva.
According
to her, several pleasant events coincided in these days. In addition to the Decade of older people, carrying out now
in Kazan, Vera Toguleva celebrates the the 85-year anniversary, and their son Evgeny came to visit his parents, who graduated from KAI
and for many years lived in Moscow. Evgeny wasn’t in Kazan for five years.

Toguleva drew attention to the fact that the
capital of Tatarstan changed in recent years, Evgeny Togulev confirmed this
too. According to her, the city is
literally blossomed: interchanges appeared, houses are being built,
numerous flowers and trees adorn Kazan. “You
are an attentive citizen of the city”, said Ilsur
Metshin with gratitude.
He
said that many of the changes, which have occurred in the city, were
possible due to major events that took place in the city - the
Universiade and the FINA World Cup, and by the support of Mintimer Shaimiev, the State Counselor of the RT and the first President of the Republic, and Rustam
Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, and Vladimir Putin, the President of the country.
During
dialogue Vera Toguleva wished to equip the Honeymooners
Square, and the Mayor of Kazan supported her.
Ilsur
Metshin noted the special, home-style cozy atmosphere in the Togulevs house. “It
feels like I visited my parents”,
said the Mayor with a smile. He wished the couple Togulevs
health and often visitsof theirgrandchildren. “Invite
me to your 90 anniversary, I
will come”, he added.
“I am grateful to you for the congratulations and
kind words. We will not forget today's event”, said Vera Toguleva.
