The Day of the City and the Republic ended with a concert at the Family Centre “Kazan”

(KZN.RU, August 30). The celebration of the Day of the Republic and the City Day finished in Kazan. The concert at the Bowl the “Collectives of Tatarstan” was the decoration of the evening program, where the best collectives of the republic, as well as the stars of the Russian and Tatar pop performed. Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, were the guests of the festive event.

The head of the Republic welcomed the guests and noted the high level of organization of the event. "I want to thank the leadership of the city, all the people who have organized today's holiday, and first of all, I want to thank you, Kazan citizens, for the fact that you are active and involved in all events. Bik zur rehmet sezge (Tat. “Thank you very much”). Happy Day of the Republic and City Day!” said Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Family Center “Kazan” became a major concert venue of the city for the first time, near which top performers and creative collectives of Tatarstan, as well as groups from the Republic of Tuva and Austria performed for the residents and guests of Kazan. Famous Russian pop artists became headliners of the event. Stas Kostyushkin appeared on stage first and performed his incendiary hits “Fire”, “Woman, I do not dance” and other popular songs. Oleg Gazmanov, People's Artist of Russia, next took the stage and added a festive evening even more drive and positive emotions. An audience warmly welcomed artists, singing along with star performers.

Colorful fireworks, which volleys fired from the water area of the Kazanka River, became the final chord of the holiday.
