Metshin inspected the territory of "Electron" stadium, where now new convenient for the players and fans sports complex is actively being built, as well as the area near the Center of family "Kazan", which will be the venue for the of the festival of FIFA fans. The Mayor instructed to find and offer a decent alternative to the newlyweds, as during the 2018 wedding ceremonies in "Kazan" Family Center will not be held.

A year before the start of FIFA World Cup matches in 2018 Kazan stadium "Elektron" will be reconstructed in full training complex with a modern football field. As General Director of ANO "Executive directorate of sports projects" Azat Kadyrov told to the Mayor, the territory of the area is  total of ​​2.14 hectares, it is planned to carry out reconstruction of the football field with the replacement of coverage, the reconstruction of existing facilities and locker rooms with the installation of the necessary equipment and furniture. In addition, telescopic grandstand with 500 seats will be installed at the stadium.

The Mayor inspected the stadium renovation plan and stressed the importance of providing high-quality lawn. "There is no doubt in the fact that there will be possible to build a good platform, comfortable spaces, landscaping of the area. But a state of the field is most important for the player, - I. Metshin said. - The lawn must be perfect, we have no right for error. On "Kazan Arena" stadium we can accurately provide high quality field, but training is no less important, so you need to make all the maximum quality on other facilities". The Mayor also said that the reconstruction of the stadium "Electron" will be a welcome gift to Kazan residents, because to date on its territory more than a thousand pupils of "Dynamo" school are engaged in sports and summer classes of football and rugby, competitions, classes in physical culture of pupils of schools, colleges and universities are held. I. Metshin also visited the territory, in which the entrance to the stadium for the fans will be organized, and studied plan for the construction of the parking area.

The first game under the Confederations Cup preceding the 2018 World Cup will be held in Kazan on June 17 next year, but the construction and installation work on the stadium is scheduled for completion by May 2017, Kadyrov said. Condition of the lawn and other conditions will be checked and the building will be carefully supervised by the Ministry of Sports of Russia, all of the design work is also coordinated with federal experts.

The second point was the working detour of a ground at "Kazan" Center of family, which will be the venue for the festival of fans of FIFA. Note that for the period of operation of the festival, in the Center of the family "Kazan" wedding ceremonies will not be held. The Mayor instructed to promptly notify the residents of the city and offer a decent alternative to the newlyweds. As noted by the head of the Registry Office of the Executive Committee of Kazan Guzel Gabbasova, now there is a selection of other sites for newlyweds.
