The installation of small architectural forms will be included to the program of overhaul of households

(Kazan City KZN.RU, 26 February). Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov supported the initiative of Kazan authorities for the inclusion of small architectural forms in the program overhaul of yards. This was announced at today's V session of Kazan City Duma.

In the reporting session Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin made a detailed report on the results of work in 2015. One of the themes of report was a major overhaul of yards. The Mayor said that over the past 5 years more than 1,200 houses adjoining areas were repaired. "More than 80 thousand of Kazan residents felt the positive effects of the work carried out," - I. Metshin said.

"If we keep up the momentum, then in 6-7 years we will finish the repair in all the yards of Kazan", - I. Metshin said. The Mayor thanked the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov for support in this matter and decided to continue the work in the current year.

"Traditionally we adhere to the principle - house repair - yard repair, knowing that it is important for the residents not just to live in a renovated cozy home, but also to have a landscaped yard, where there is where to walk for children and pensioners, and to engage in physical activity for young people," - the Mayor said.

The Mayor noted that the overhaul of households program includes work on asphalting roads and landscaping of car pockets, and everything else is at the discretion of management companies, whose capabilities are very different. And people do not understand why the yards are repaired differently; head of the city designated the problem and made a proposal to include small architectural forms in the program of overhaul of yards.

"Small architectural forms must be included as one of the elements. Since we came to the site and made it, it must have a finished appearance. In this direction we have heard you,"- President supported the initiative.
