I. Metshin: "We have learned to choose the contractors through dialogue with residents"

(Kazan City KZN.RU, August 25, Zilya Gayfi). These days residents of house №40 at st. Garifyanov at the Privolzhsky district of Kazan mark double celebration, here major renovation of the house and landscaping of the yard area ended. In addition to standard types of work in the program of overhaul of houses, there surveillance cameras, anti-dirt and anti-slide coating at the entrances were installed.

Mayor Ilsur Metshin came to congratulate residents with the completion of repair work in the building and opening of a landscaped playground.

Happy residents met Ilsur Metshin in the yard of the house №40 at st. Garifyanov. “We are very happy, thank you very much!” - they welcomed the Mayor of Kazan. The opening of a children's playground on the site, which was a wasteland, has become a long-awaited event for the residents of at once several houses on the Garifyanov Street - №34, 36, 38, 40.

On the territory sanitary pruning of trees was held, new trees and shrubs were planted, flowerbeds, new benches and bins were installed, asphalt paths were laid and a children's play area was created. Ilsur Metshin noted that over the years the residents’ needs are growing, and it is joyful. "10 years ago, when we started to work hard in the field of housing, the residents asked to repair roofs, sewers, heating system. Today they are asking to arrange territory. And this is normal, when the demands of the residents are growing. This is the result of a big work - since 2007 we are implementing a program of overhaul of the city houses, in addition, thanks to the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, a program on the improvement of territories launched, "- said the Mayor.

In the house №40 at st. Garifyanov facade has been renovated, central heating pipes and cold water supply have been replaced, sewerage and electric have been updated, repair work have been done in the cellars and porches , and energetic  research have also been conducted. The residents give the best estimate of the quality of work.

In addition surveillance cameras were installed and garbage area was equipped in the yard. For the first time in the city the installation of anti-slip and dirt-protecting coating on the porch entrances was made, the effect of this the residents will fully enjoy in winter. If the new feature will work, the current coverage will appear in the other houses.

At the end of the meeting the residents of houses appealed to the Mayor with their wishes, the main of which was an accomplishment of another site for the rink. Ilsur Metshin promised that the sports ground for teens will appear in the next year. "The third year we are implementing consecutive program to build playgrounds with the football and basketball field, horizontal bars and gyms. The following year together with you we will open this area ", - assured the Mayor.

Ilsur Metshin thanked residents for the initiative, through which problems in the housing sector can be solved. "We cannot say that everything has been done. But we try, and your wishes are important in this work. Through dialogue with the residents we have learned to choose the contractors. Together we have accomplished the quality of repairs. Thank you for your non-indifference. You are the chief inspectors of our work ", - said the Mayor.
