I.Metshin on the kindergarten: «It is very important to develop the social infrastructure along with the growth of the residential complex»

By the first of September, a new kindergarten for 260 children will open in the yard of the Yaratam residential complex. It is planned to form 14 groups of 12-20 kids. The construction of the facility started in February 2024, and today the readiness is 48%. The Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin, inspected the construction of the kindergarten on Bukharskaya Street.

For the first time, when creating a kindergarten design project, the design of the facades of the houses of the residential complex, made in brown and beige shades, was taken into account. The two-storey facility with a total area of 2,400 square meters was designed by Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt.

«In spring, we met with the builders and discussed plans for the implementation of the project. Today we see an almost ready kindergarten. There is no doubt that the construction will be completed by the beginning of the new school year. It is very important that the social infrastructure develops along with the residential complex. The SMU-88 company builds both housing and social facilities. They have a double responsibility – for the quality of housing and a beautiful kindergarten for the kids who will live around», – the head of the city noted.

The residential complex will have four stages of construction for 1,890 apartments with a living area of 9,500 sq.m. Presently, two residential buildings have been built, the construction of the third is underway, and the concept of the fourth has been developed. The planned population of the neighborhood, together with the nearby village of Dalny, will amount to more than three thousand residents.

«Just recently, it was a depressed area, the former industrial site of the Kazan construction complex. Today, these are new neighborhoods that are growing not only with beautiful buildings, but also with social infrastructure», –Ilsur Metshin said.

Fourteen playgrounds with shade canopies and two more sports grounds will be equipped on the territory of the kindergarten. Almost 3,000 square meters of the territory will be landscaped, asphalt concrete will be laid on 1,400 square meters, sidewalks will be built on another 1,200 square meters. To date, the landscaping of the territory has been completed by 10%.

In total, three kindergartens for 600 children are planned to be completed in the capital of Tatarstan by September. Two preschools – for 260 and 80 places – will be built on Bukharskaya and Yagodinskaya streets, another one designed for 260 children will be built in the area of Zarechye Avenue in Salavat Kupere.

«As a result, we will build three new kindergartens for 600 children for our young residents of Kazan. One of them will be in Salavat Cooper, the second will be on Yagodinskaya Street and the third will be located here in the Sovetsky district on Voznesensky Tract Ilsur Metshin», – said.

More than two-hundred people and eight vehicles are involved in the facility every day. Electricity supply and outdoor water supply were provided at the facility.

Workers are completing the external sewerage and the installation of storm drains. Installation of windows (75%) and roofs (30%), arrangement of entrance groups (38%), laying of floors (30%) continues. Ventilation (50%), electrics (35%), utilities (31%) and external (41%) networks, as well as heating (12%) were carried out. In the near future, builders will start installing heating and low-current networks.
