Rixos Group may build a hotel in Kazan
(KZN.RU, April 20, by Olga Gertsev) Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met with a representative of the Turkish company Rixos Hotels, Fettah Tamince.
"We do business in several countries around the world. Rixos is the best known hotel chain in Turkey. Our first hotel in Russia will be the one currently under construction in Sochi, Krasnaya Polyana," said Fettah Tamince. The future Sochi hotel will be a huge, 7,000-room tourist complex with a vast conference room.
"If we can find a suitable site with favorable infrastructure in Kazan, we’ll be happy to build a hotel here, possibly with a conference hall and exhibition space,” said Fettah Tamince. Ilsur Metshin expressed his hope that this project would be carried out.
For your reference: Rixos Hotels is a Turkish company which owns a chain of 15 hotels in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Libya, Croatia and the United Arab Emirates.
