In the near
future, the "Lokomotiv” stadium in Kazan district Yudino will get athletic
tracks, ski-roller track, shooting range and overhaul of the sports complex.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, got acquainted with the reconstruction of
the stadium. During the visit to the sports facility, the project of a new
administrative and household complex was presented with an area of 4650 square
meters with stands for 1500 people and offices, which will be built at the
second stage of the stadium reconstruction.
The
reconstruction of the “Lokomotiv” stadium, built by the Russian Railways in
1957, started last year. By the centennium of the Yudino district a new
full-size football field was built with an artificial pitch.
The mayor
inspected the territory of the stadium and a multifunctional hall in the sports
and recreation complex. "We can say
that we are returning this sports complex to the residents of Yudino, more
children will play sports here," the mayor said.
Two
architectural solutions were also presented to the mayor of the city– one of
them in the wood decoration style, the other – tiles and glass. The mayor
preferred the wood because of the better combination with environment – a
forest is nearby. "We need everything to be organic, and people who come
here would feel comfortable. We’ve got enough of tiles and glass in the city,"
he pointed.
"In
General, the project is gorgeous, it will be a great gift for the residents of
Yudino. Let's work together to make this tale come true” - summed up Ilsur
Metshin.
