On September 4, Kazan will host a large-scale citywide
Fair of good. All funds will be used to help children in need of treatment. The
fair will be the final event of the autumn decade of good in the capital of
Tatarstan. This week of good in Kazan will be eventful. It is planned to arrange
crowd funding for the poor, veterans, animal shelters, providing targeted
assistance to the older and lonely people, donating blood, carrying out
environmental events, charity concerts and performances.
On September 1- the day of knowledge, Kazan
first-graders received a Diary Of kindness as a gift, in which they will record
all their good deeds during the school year. For the first time this tradition
was laid in 2016. As part of the decade of good, all Kazan citizens can take
part in charity events.
Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin noted that the Fair of
good is held for the fourth time in city parks and has become a good tradition,
before it was held in schools for two years. "Kazan needs more charity. Hundreds
of families in the capital receive support, several million rubles were raised
by children under this program, and at the same time 137 thousand school
students grow up with the understanding that their help is important, and good
is important too," summed up Ilsur Metshin.
