May 21). The competition sites of the finals of the VII National Championship
“Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)” were examined at the Kazan Expo
today. Tatiana Golikova, the deputy prime minister, Rustam Minnikhanov, the
President of the RT, and Robert Urazov, the CEO of the Young Professionals
Union (WorldSkills Russia), made the assessment. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, also took part in the inspection.

Golikova was informed that the competitions are held according to the
competencies of six blocks of professions: construction, information and
communication technologies, creativity and design, production and engineering
technologies, services, as well as transport and logistics.
In total,
91 competencies are represented, as well as 23 competences of the block “Future
Skills”. Participants WorldSkills Russia Juniors will compete in 48
competencies.
The Deputy
Prime Minister of the RF and the President of the RT talked with experts and
competitors at the sites of competencies “Reversible Engineering”, “Synthesis
and Processing of Minerals”, “BIM Information Modeling Technologies”,
“Development of Virtual and Augmented Reality”, “Robotic Welding”, “Turning
Works on CNC machines” and “Milling works on CNC machines”.
A meeting
with participants of a special vocational training program and additional
vocational education for citizens of pre-retirement age was held at the
WorldSkills Academy site. “We are getting new competencies, it is great.
Professional growth is always interesting. We would like not to be called the
people of pre-retirement age. We are people with an active lifestyle. We have
experience, excitement, we can do a lot. And therefore we don’t want to leave
the pedestal of social activity”, said one of the participants of the program.

Golikova asked about the organization of training, the most demanded
competencies, and also wished the program participants further success, reports
