(KZN.RU,
May 20, Alena Miroshnichenko). Since the beginning of the year, Kazan retirees
attended classes and events within the framework of the project “Zhiznelyub”
more than 62 thousand times. Last year, the figure for the same period was a
third less. Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture, reported on the
success of the club, as well as the upcoming Day of Zhiznelyub, which will open
the summer season of events, at the Business Monday today.
For the
second time, the Day of Zhiznelyub will take place in the capital of Tatarstan.
It will be held on May 25 in the park “Krylya Sovetov”. At the festival,
retirees of the city will present all areas of training that take place in the
club. The most active participants of the project and the most popular teachers
will be awarded.
In
addition, the most active “zhiznelyubs” will present their creativity on the
main stage of the park, where the finals of the urban beauty contest and wisdom
“Altyn bike” will be held. Participants will demonstrate their creative
abilities and skills in various areas of art.
An entertainment
program has also been prepared for children, so that older Kazan people can
come to the festival with their families. A. Abzalov reminded that more than 6
thousand people visited the last Day of Kazan Zhiznelyub.
Today,
activities within the framework of the project “Zhiznelyub” are held at 55 city
sites. These are houses of culture, libraries, and parks in the summer period.
The new locations were added this year: the opened recreation center
“Konstantinovka” and the HoC “Zheleznodorozhnikov”.
Project
participants are constantly involved in large-scale urban events. For the New
Year's holidays, they presented their theatrical abilities in the city
competition “People’s Ded Moroz”, where they received the audience award. On
May 9, they performed in a concert program on the Millennium Square. In
addition, the younger generation successfully harvests and cares for plants in
a public garden in the Gorkinsko-Ometievsky forest under the guidance of active
Kazan retirees. They hold their master classes instilling a love for the earth
and nature in children.
A. Abzalov
noted that 85 employees of these institutions conduct classes for pensioners in
urban cultural centers, clubs and libraries. However, active pensioners manage
33 club associations of interests by themselves. These include gymnastics,
mental arithmetic, gardening, and more.
The speaker
also reported that active preparation for the summer season is already
underway. From June, Zhiznelyub classes will take place in Kazan’s most popular
public spaces: parks Uritsky, Krylya Sovetov, Sosnovaya Roscha, Derbyshki
Settlement, and Gorkinsko -Ometievsky forest. “Classes will be held weekly
almost every day in all ten directions”, said A. Abzalov. He reminded that you
can find out the schedule and other interesting information by calling the
hotline: 8 (843) 236-42-93 or on the portal KZN.RU.
“The
project “Zhiznelyub” gives you the opportunity to develop creative skills and
gain new knowledge absolutely free, as well as communicate with like-minded
people and maintain vitality. By their example, thousands of members of the
club “Zhiznelyub” show that it is possible to lead an active, interesting and
fulfilling life in retirement”, said the head of the Department of Culture in
his report. He invited Kazan citizens to join the movement.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, believes that the project has an important
function, bringing together like-minded people. “We started this project so
timidly, but today it is already confidently striding around the city, expanding
its geography and increasing the number of participants. These people amaze
with their energy, their talents and desire to lead an active lifestyle”, said
the Mayor.
The head of
the city also marked that “zhiznelyubs” need support and increase in the number
of places where they can meet. “The possibility of absolutely free
participation in cultural life is a tribute to people for their work. Each of
the pensioners worked and put their heart into the Kazan that we see today”,
said I. Metshin.
